22 January, 2025

On 22 January 2026, the EMSEX consortium had the pleasure of presenting online the outcomes of the Erasmus Mundus Design Measures project to institutional and professional partners. The presentation showcased the work developed throughout the Design Measures phase, including the programme’s vision and relevance, curricular structure, expected academic and societal impact, sustainability strategy, and the roles of partner institutions. The session also provided space for open discussion and exchange, allowing partners to collectively reflect on the future implementation of the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master in Sexology.

22 January, 2025

The final EMSEX in-person meeting happened in Lisbon. The consortium worked on finalising key aspects of the programme design and the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master application. The meeting allowed the team to align on remaining curricular details, governance arrangements, and strategic elements of the joint application, marking the final consolidation phase of the Design Measures project.

23 October, 2025

The EMSEX consortium met in person in Almería to finalise key curriculum components, consolidate institutional partnerships, and advance the preparation of the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master application. This meeting represented a decisive step in transitioning from programme design to formal submission.

22 May, 2025

The EMSEX consortium met in Malmö and reached key agreements on the overall programme structure, learning pathways, and mobility scheme. This milestone significantly advanced the design of the future Erasmus Mundus Joint Master in Sexology.

February - April, 2025

A series of international focus groups were conducted with students, professionals, and institutional stakeholders. These consultations aimed to identify academic needs, professional expectations, and societal challenges in sexology education, ensuring that the EMSEX Master's is relevant, inclusive, and evidence-based.

6 March, 2025

The EMSEX consortium met in person for the first time in Porto. This meeting allowed partners to share existing Master’s programmes, institutional expertise, and best practices, laying the foundations for the joint European curriculum in Sexology.
